Minister of Transport, Dullah Omar, has noted the sale of 44.74% of Aeroporti Di Roma shares to the Australian Macquarie Bank Group (Macquarie Consortium) for the sum of 480 million euro.
Minister Omar sees the entry of Macquarie Consortium into ADR in a positive light. Macquarie is a world-renowned group with a high reputation internationally.
Omar said that ADR has kept South African counterparts informed of developments and ‘we will be meeting shortly to discuss our agreements’.
