Government has noted the current media focus on debates on issues relating to HIV/AIDS which belong to an earlier period.
As far as government is concerned both the Minister in the Presidency and Premier Ramatlhodi have adequately responded to allegations reportedly made by Professor Makgoba regarding interactions perceived as intimidation and have nothing to add.
What is critical in the current period since government's 17 April pronouncements on the comprehensive approach to HIV and AIDS is to unite and galvanise all South Africans in all sectors in a campaign of hope into the fight against HIV and Aids as well as infections such as TB and malaria, etc
