STATEMENT OF CONDOLENCE FROM PRESIDENT MBEKI ON THE TRAIN FIRE TRAGEDY IN EGYPT

President Thabo Mbeki, on behalf of the Government and people of South Africa, extended his deepest condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims of the tragedy that befell the commuters travelling to Luxor for the religious festival of Eid Al Adha.

Our thoughts are with the Egyptian people during this time of grief.
