As part of relief efforts by the Government of South Africa to alleviate the plight of the people of Goma, DRC, following the volcanic eruption last week, a bank account has now been opened with ABSA for members of the public who may wish to make a financial contribution.
Since the volcanic eruption Government has been inundated with calls from members of the public who wish to support the relief efforts financially or otherwise. Government expresses its gratitude for such offers of support.
