The Deputy Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development Cheryl Gillwald will on Friday 09 2001 lead a delegation composed of Deputy Ministers Ntombazana Botha and Susan Shabangu, of Provincial and Local
Government and Minerals and Energy respectively and provincial MECs and other government officials to Villiers in the Free State for a participatory democracy event.
Leaders and representatives of communities, churches, non-governmental organisations, community based organisations, women's groups, youth groups, business and others, will assemble at the Qalabotjha Community Hall where there will be an exhibit by various government departments, businesses, local organisations and other interested stake holders.
Through this interaction with the local community and local government, national government will seek to highlight services that they render to communities and also to listen to what these communities have to say about government delivery programmes.
