Please be advised that Ms Zanele Mngadi will join the Presidency on Friday, 12 October as Director Media Liaison in the Office of the Deputy President.
Ms Mngadi, a senior journalist at The Star newspaper until last week, brings to the office a wealth of experience in media and public relations, having worked previously as a journalist for Umafrika and the Natal Witness, and also having served as a senior account executive with a Johannesburg public relations firm. She was also assistant editor for publications at the Steel and Engineering Industries Federation of South Africa
Given her background, she is well placed to contribute to the maintenance of an effective and efficient media liaison service in the Office of the Deputy President.
