The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma , today Friday 5 October, announced the appointment of Ms. Lindiwe Mabuza and Dr. Abe Nkomo as High Commissioners to London, UK and Malaysia respectively.
The Minister extends her congratulations to both Ms. Mabuza and Dr. Nkomo on their appointments and expressed her conviction that the two will rise to the occasion to advance the best the interests of the country.
Ms. Mabuza who was South Africa’s High Commisioner to Malaysia will replace the outgoing High Commissioner Cheryl Carolus. Dr. Nkomo a community leader from Atteridgevelle Pretoria is the current Chairperson of the Parliamentary Health Portfolio Committee and a recipient of the Nelson Mandela Health Award.
The Minister takes this opportunity to reiterate her best wishes to the outgoing High Commisioner Cheryl Carolus in her new area of responsibility as CEO-Designate of SATOUR.
