MEDIA STATEMENT ON THE TRAIN ACCIDENT IN BRITAIN ON 28 FEBRUARY 2001

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma today expressed shock at the sad news of the serious rail accident which occurred today, Wednesday 28 February in Yorkshire, England.

Minister Dlamini Zuma expresses the condolences of the Government and people of South Africa, to the relatives and friends of those who lost their lives in this tragic occurrence and extends her sincere wishes for the speedy recovery of those injured.
