DEPUTY PRESIDENT JACOB ZUMA TO VISIT THE KINGDOM OF SWAZILAND

Deputy President Jacob Zuma is to visit the Kingdom of Swaziland from Sunday, 18 February 2001 to Tuesday, 20 February 2001.

The Deputy President will be accompanied by Minister of Agriculture Thoko Didiza, Minister of Labour Shepherd Mdladlana and Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Penuell Maduna.

The purpose of the visit is to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. Issues that are expected to be discussed include the recent foot and mouth disease that affected both countries, and also labour related matters given that a number of Swazi nationals work and live in South Africa.
