Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma is departing South Africa today Monday 15 January to attend a Ministerial Conference of the Franco-Africa Summit schedule for 18-19 January, in Cameroon. The biennial Franco-Africa Summit, will also be attended by Heads of State and Government. Deputy President Jacob Zuma will represent South Africa.
The Summit convened under the theme: Africa and the Challenges of Globalisation will discuss among others:
Deputy President Zuma is expected to address the Summit on human rights, rule and law, democracy and good governance. Minister Dlamini Zuma will then proceed to Dakar, Senegal where she will represent South Africa at the Regional Preparatory meeting for the World Conference Against Racism (WCAR) from 22-24 January.
