On 14 November 2000, I wrote a letter to the community of Orania, notifying them that their concern regarding the demarcation process has received the attention of Cabinet, and that it continues to receive the attention of Government.
This morning (20 November 2000), I met with the leader of the Freedom Front, General Constand Vijoen. General Viljoen shares Government's view about the need for this matter to be addressed and resolved through dialogue. He put a proposal to us and I undertook to bring that proposal to the attention of Cabinet for consideration. Cabinet will meet on Wednesday 22 November 2000.
