The Amnesty Committee of the TRC is to consider three different sets of amnesty applications at JISS Centre in Johannesburg October 9.
Among other matters is the attempted murder of Constitutional Judge Albie Sachs to the assault of an TRC's Amnesty Committee member Jonas Ben Sibanyoni.
Amnesty applicant Henry van der Westhuizen has applied for murdering ANC member Gibson Mondlane in 1987 and attempting to murder Albie Sachs in Maputo in 1988. The matter will heard on Monday.
On Tuesday, Charles Zeelie will appear before the Amnesty Committee for assaulting Amnesty Committee member Jona Ben Sibanyoni and Tokyo Sexwale among others.
He has also applied for conspiracy to kill Jacob Zuma, Siphiwe Nyanda, Indres Naidoo, Keith Mokwape and others in Swaziland and Maputo in the mid 1980's.
On Wednesday, Anton Jagga, Lesizi Michael Jantjie, Robert Shaw and Daniel Thulo have applied for their role in the abduction of four ANC activists at Lesotho in 1986. The activists who had been infiltrated by the security police were abducted, tortured and killed after they refused to be Askaris. The victims were Bettie Boom, Nomasonto Mashiya, Tax Sejanamane and Mbulelo Ngono.
