TRC AMNESTY APPLICATIONS FOR FRIDAY JULY 7

Two sets of Amnesty applications are to be heard by the Amnesty Committee of the TRC in Pretoria on Friday, July 7 at the Wesley Methodist Church.

The first matters involves the killing of Sadhan Naidoo in one of ANC farms in Lusaka in 1989 by Izack Bosch and Eugene De Kok. Naidoo was killed by a hired assassin, ssassin, Chris Kentane, who was Zimbabwean.

Another matter on the roll, is that of Eugene Fourie, a former Security Branch member in Ovamboland - Northern Namibia, who is applying for cutting off hands of deceased Swapo members who had been killed in combat.

He claims that they wanted the hands for fingerprints purposes in order to to identify Swapo members whose names appeared on intelligence files.
