Minister Essop Pahad categorically denies attending any meeting of SATRA regarding the awarding of, or discussing issues related to the awarding of, the third cellular licence.
The so-called sources which remains unnamed are mischievous. The Minister is surprised that a reputable paper such as the Sunday Independent would publish allegations, such as those made in the Sunday Independent of April 9, 2000 without verifying the facts.
