In response to the growing solidarity with the victims of the floods, and as part of the co-ordinated regional flood relief effort involving the governments of South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique and Zimbabwe, GCIS has established a Flood Relief Web Page which goes live today, Monday 13 March 2000, by 14H00. The web page includes information on the various ways in which people and organisations can help, whether by way of financial donations, material aid or volunteering.
Various Online Media organisations have already offered their support for this initiative and GCIS will be approaching others to do so.
