SEIGONI GESTS LIFELINE

31 January 2000

Northern Province Premier Adv. Ngoako Ramatlhodi will accompany Reserve Bank Governor Tito Mboweni to Seigoni School on Thursday 3 February 2000 to give it a lifeline.

Reserve Bank Governor Tito Mboweni became interested in the school when two years ago it scored zero percent pass for matric. He says on his recent visit to the USA he had an opportunity to visit Goldman Sachs. He managed to convince the company to help in cases of Seigolu and others.

In this regard, Mr J. Sommer one of the top Executives of Goldman Sachs will be visiting South Africa this week. His itinerary include visiting Seigoni School in Bochum. Goldman Sach is a leading company in every field of investment, finance, merges and acquisitions. It is a member of major securities and commodities exchanges world-wide, including the New York Stock Exchange, London Stock exchange, Frankfort, Hong Kong and elsewhere around the world.

Premier Ramatlhodi who will be accompanied by Education MEC, Edgar Mushwana, believes the partnership to be built between the Province and such an institution as Goldman Sachs will go a long way.

We are not only looking at Seigoni, but I believe Seigoni will serve as a model before we spread our wings," says Ramatlhodi.
