Unprecedented interest by taxi operators and commuters in the new taxis in contention to replace South Africa's existing minibus taxi fleet, drew well over 10 000 people to the Exhibition of these vehicles at the Kyalami Exhibition and Conference Centre north of Johannesburg today. The organisers have put in place special measures to ensure that congestion at the exhibition tomorrow (Friday, 28 January) will be eased allowing visitors to enjoy and benefit from the exhibition to the fullest extent.
Security at the event proved very efficient today and will again tomorrow ensure the safety of all visitors to the exhibition. The event which enters its last day tomorrow, is free of charge and will again be open to all the interested parties from 09h00 to 17h00.
