Cases of former Superintendent-General of the department of education in the Northern Province Professor Z.M Chuenyane and Transport department Chief Director M.M Machabaphala has been finalised.
In the case of Professor Chuenyane the two parties (government, himself and his representatives) have reached a settlement that provides among others things, for his immediate termination of service. The parties further agreed to keep the details of the settlement confidential.
In the case of Mr Machabaphala he was found not guilty of any charges against him. He will resume work on Monday 1 November 1999.
