Minister F S Mufamadi, Minister for Provincial and Local Government, will host a conference on the Promotion and Protection of the rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities on Heritage Day on 24 September 1999 at the Volkswagen Marketing Centre in Midrand.
This conference will be preceded by a media breakfast at 07:30 which will be hosted by Minister Mufamadi during which he will give a full preview of the conference and its aims.
The keynote address will be delivered by Deputy President Zuma at 09:00.
Invited guests include representatives of cultural, religious and linguistic organisations and groups, members of Cabinet, Parliament and Provincial Legislatures as well as Commissioners of the S A Human Rights and Gender Commissions.
