The Office of the Presidency is aware of a memorandum that was submitted to the former Deputy President shortly before the June 2 elections regarding certain practises at the Land Bank.
The matter is being investigated by the Minister of Agriculture and Land Affairs Mrs Thoko Msane-Didiza. Following media reports and enquiries this morning Acting President Jacob Zuma asked the Minister to give him a report on the status of the investigation.
The Acting President is satisfied the matter will be resolved expeditiously.
