THREE SUSPECTS WERE ARRESTED INCONNECTION WITH ZUMA ATTACK

Following from the incident at Inkandla where the wife of the Deputy President was attacked, the Deputy President Jacob Zuma has been informed that a team of detectives from the Serious and Violent Crime Projects office, Durban and the Ulundi Murder and Robbery Unit swooped on a house in the Kranskop area following intensive investigation into the attack on Mrs Sizakele Zuma last Friday. Three suspects were arrested. The three men are 35 years, 41 years and 19 years.

Investigations are continuing and the team of detectives will soon make an application for further warrants of arrest for three outstanding suspects. The identities of the suspects are known and their arrest is imminent.

The detectives recovered a generator, a television set and R1000-00 in cash. A toy pistol was also recovered.

The Deputy President is grateful for the support he has received during this difficult period.
