Foreign Minister Alfred Nzo today expressed his deep concern about the escalation of tension between India and Pakistan, over the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.
As close allies of South Africa Minister Nzo urged both countries to recall the spirit of the Lahore Declaration they signed on 22 February 1999, which commits them to solving their problems through dialogue.
"It is important that they should not allow these latest incidents to undo the progress achieved in Lahore", Minister Nzo added.
