When President Nelson Mandela came out of prison in 1990, he appealed to Kings and other Traditional Leaders, not to join political organisations for reasons he fully explained.
Nevertheless, there are Traditional Leaders who are members of political organisations.
The Royal House of Qaukeni remains politically neutral and is not a member of any political organisation.
But the Royal House will never forget the political organisation in our country which has given, and continues to give, enormous help to His Majesty and his family, and whose leaders are involved in practical programmes to better the lives of our people in the country areas.
