MALAYSIAN EXPERTS TO HELP TRAIN SA PUBLIC SERVANTS

Pretoria: In order to increase the provision of training to public servants the Ministry of Public Service and Administration and the UK-based Innovation Partnerships Worldwide Limited will on Tuesday, 4 May 1999, sign a preliminary agreement on the design and delivery of strategic training programmes.

The Malaysian Civil Service College, will be one of a number of internationally renowned agencies that will be included in the collaborative partnership to boost the skills and knowledge of the human resource base of the public service.

The full terms of reference of this collaborative partnership with Innovation Partnerships Worldwide (IPW) will be disclosed at the signing ceremony, which will double as a press conference. The preliminary agreement, amongst other things, addresses:

In all, the agreement will set out in a complete and comprehensive form the respective rights and obligations of both parties to enable the co-operation to take its course.
