My attention has been drawn to the action taken by the police in the above matter. Brimstone Managing Director, Adam Omar, is described as "the brother of Justice Minister Dullah Omar". I wish to state that I fully support the action taken by the police. The law must take its course, no matter who is involved.
The trafficking in medicines, illegally obtained, has become a serious matter in South Africa. Drastic and decisive action is necessary on the part of the Police and the justice system generally, to ensure that this and other crimes, are brought under control. The police must be commended for their decisive action.
