The spolesperson of the National Anti-Corruption summit which will take place in Cape Town, Professor Stan Sangweni, says parties taking part in the summit have been invited as per their participation in different parliamentary portfolio committees. Professor Sangweni says contrary to a media report, representatives of the Democratic Party, Pan Africanist Congress and Inkatha Freedom Party will take part in the summit on Wednesday and Thursday (14 and 15 April). He says the other participants will come from the whole of the South African society, especially those in key sectors.
