INTINERARY OF PRESIDENT NELSO MANDELA (04-03-99 TO 18-03-99)
FOR PLANNING PURPOSES
THURSDAY, 4 MARCH 19999:
President Mandela, accompanied by Minister Trevor Manuel, will visit the South African Revenue Services offices in Pretoria between 10h30 and 11h30.
In the evening between 18h00 and 19h00 the President will host a dinner for the SAFA (South African Football Association) Executive Commttee at Mahlamba-Ndlopfu.
FRIDAY, 5TH MARCH 1999:
The President will attend a meeting at the Funda Centre in Soweto between 14h30 and 15h30.
SATURDAY, 6TH MARCH 1999:
The President will spend the morning in Pretoria and the afternoon in Cape Town.
SUNDAY, 7TH MARCH 1999:
President Mandela will rest in Cape Town.
MONDAY, 8TH MARCH 1999:
The President will attend an elections meeting at the Houghton Primary School between 19H00 and 20H00.
TUESDAY, 9TH MARCH 1999:
President Mandela will receive a courtesy visit from representatives of the Sri Chinmoy organisation between 09H30 and 10H00.
WEDNESDAY, 10TH MARCH 1999:
The President will depart for a state visit to The Netherlands.
THURSDAY, 11TH MARCH 1999:
Official engagements in Den Haag and Leyden, The Netherlands. STATE VISIT.
SATURDAY, 13TH MARCH 1999:
The President will rest in Luxembourg. President Mandela will arrive in Helsinki, Finland at 15H30. STATE VISIT
MONDAY, 15TH MARCH 1999:
The President will depart from Helsinki (Finland) at 15H30 and arrive in Copenhagen (Denmark) at 16H00. STATE VISIT
TUESDAY, 16TH MARCH 1999:
The President will depart from Copenhagen (Denmark at 14H30 and arrive in Oslo (Norway) at 16hOO. STATE VISIT
WEDNESDAY, 17TH MARCH 1999:
The President will depart from Oslo (Norway) at 15H15 and arrive in Stockholm (Sweden) at 16H00. STATE VISIT
THURSDAY, 18TH MARCH 1999:
The President departs from Stockholm (Sweden) at 16H30 arriving in Cape Town the next day.
