STATEMENT ON DEPUTY PRESIDENT THABO MBEKI'S MEETING WITH COMMONWEALTH SECRETARY-GENERAL, CHIEF EMEKA ANYAOKU
Deputy President Thabo Mbeki will host a meeting and a luncheon for the visiting Commonwealth Secretary-General, His Excellency Chief Emeka Anyaoku at 11h00, Table Bay Hotel, Waterfront Cape town on Thursday 29 October 1998.
The meeting will focus on the forthcoming Commonwealth Summit scheduled to be held in South Africa on a date seputy President will be accompanied by Deputy Minister Essop Pahad and three Foreign Affairs officials, whilst Chief Anyaoku's delegation includes Conference Secretary Mr. J. Shepperd and six other officials.
There will be a photo-opportunity before the meeting starts at 11h00.
