APPOINTMENT OF THE MEMBERS OF THE NATIONAL ADVISORY COUNCIL ON INNOVATION (NAC)
The Minister of Arts, Culture, Science and Technology, Mr Lionel Mtshali, today announced the names of the members of the National Advisory Council on Innovation (NAC).
Dr Sibusiso Sibisi, Managing Director of Plessey Technology, has been appointed chairperson of the NACI).
The NACI will be composed of the following persons:

The National Advisory Council on Innovation Act, 1997 (Act No 65 of 1997) provides for the establishment of a Council to advise the Minister of Arts, Culture, Science and Technology, the Ministers' Committee on Science and Technology, and the Cabinet on the role and contribution of science, mathematics, innovation and technology in promoting and achieving national objectives.
The mebers of the Council will be appointed in their personal capacity and will serve on a part-time basis for a period not exceeding four years.
