ITINERARY OF PRESIDENT NELSON MANDELA: 20-10-98 TO 25-10-98
Tuesday, 20 October 1998:
Representatives from the Kellogg Foundation pay a courtesy call on the President at the Union Buildings from 09h30 to 10h00. The President will present a Nelson Mandela Children's Fund certificate to the Trustees of Kellogg Foundation. PHOTO-OPPORTUNITY in Room 145 at the Union Buildings.
At 10h00 His Excellency Ambassador M S Mahdavi of the Islamic Republic of IRAN pays a farewell courtesy call on President Mandela.
The President will speak at the launch of the Census'96 results between 10h30 and 11h30 at the Presidential Guest House, Pretoria.
Wednesday, 21 October 1998:
President Mandela will attend the opening of the Investec Building, 100 Grayston Drive, Sandton between 19h15 and 20h00.
Thursday, 22 October 1998:
The President will meet with members of the South African Jewish Board of Deputies at his official residence in Pretoria, Mahlamba-Ndlopfu between 08h00 and 09h00.
President Mandela will attend the Moral Summit between 09h30 and 10h30 at the Johannesburg Civic Centre.
Friday, 23 October 1998:
Between 08h30 and 10h00 The President will meet with the Management Committee of Council of Traditional Leaders at the Union buildings, Pretoria.
Saturday, 24 October 1998:
President Mandela will attend a programme in Gauteng arranged by the African National Congress. It is recommended that the Department of Information and Publicity of the ANC be contacted regarding this programme.
Sunday, 25 October 1998:
The ANC Gauteng programme continues.
