MEDIA BRIEFING ON THE CONF ON NATION BUILDING

The Minister for Provincial Affairs and Constitutional Development, Mr M V Moosa will brief the media on the Conference on Nation Building through the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities, which will be held on Heritage Day on 24 September 1998. Minister Moosa will be covering the following points:

• Nature of the conference
• Key aims of government about the Conference
• The participants in the Conference
• A hint of government's proposals on the establishment of the Section 185 Commission

The media conference for the Cape Town media will be held on Thursday, 17 September 1998 at 09:30, Room 1127, 120 Plein Street.

The Minister will also take any questions you may have on the implications of the Constitutional Amendment Bills recently passed by parliament.
