Please be informed that a joint venture launch between USAID, Departments Public Works and Justice is taking place on the 21st August 1998 at Tsolo in the Eastern Cape. According to Justice Department's Communications Officer, the Minister has agreed to have the launch on this date.
Attached please find the following information:
1. An example of the invitation and response card.
2. The draft programme. The final programme will be provided when it has been finalised. The map will be received on 12 August 1998 from the project manager.
A speech should be prepared for the Minister for 15 minutes about this joint venture, because he features as a guest speaker on the programme. Could you please assist in writing the speech for the Minister? Background information would only be received on the 12 August 1998 and it will be sent through to you.
3. The guest list with all the invitees from our Department. We had a meeting with the project manager and he offered to assist us in sending out the invitations to all the contractors. The contractor list would also be provided on 12 August 1998. A full RSVP list will be provided on the 14 August 1998.
