NATIONAL YOUTH COMMISSION: PROGRESS BRIEF, JULY 98 ACCOUNTABILITY - TRANSPARENCY
In terms of our stated commitment of ensuring all relevant stakeholders are kept abreast of the work of the National Youth Commission, please find attached the first in a series of regular monthly briefs on the status of projects currently being worked on by the National Youth Commission.
A definitive NYC "information barrel" containing all necessary information on the NYC will be widely distributed to parliamentarians, media and youth organisations over the next two months providing all necessary information on the National Youth Commission and its work. Additionally, a youth outreach programme to popularise the use of the National Youth 0800 line will begin in August which will take the NYC directly to young people in communities.
Assuming some creative budgetary gymnastics on the part of our communications team, we hope to convert this monthly brief into a newsletter sooner rather than later. In the meantime, we welcome any feedback, interest or support which will assist us in effectively spreading word on the current work of the National Youth Commission and its availability to young people.
