In view of the ongoing disturbances, including the exchange of gunfire, in Bissau, capital of Guinea-Bissau, which was sparked by the dismissal of the Army Chief of Staff, General Mane, the Department of Foreign Affairs recommends that South African citizens deer planned visits to Guinea-Bissau until the situation has been normalised.
