A high level visit to South Africa under the leadership of President Yeltsin's Deputy Head of Administration, Mr Sergei Yastrzhembski, will take place from 15 - 16 June 1998.
Mr Yastrzhembski will lead a ministerial and business delegation to discuss key bilateral issues including the forthcoming visit of Deputy President Thabo Mbeki to Moscow in September 1998. Mr Yastrzhembski will also meet with Deputy President Thabo Mbeki on Monday, 15 June 1998.
The meeting will be followed by bilateral discussions hosted by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Aziz Pahad at the Diplomatic Guest House. Separate meetings have also been arranged with members of the delegation and representatives from ARMSCOR, the Departments of Mineral and Energy Affairs, Education and Trade and Industry.
