NATIONAL YOUTH COMMISSION PRESS BRIEFING: OFFICIAL YOUTH DAY THEME & ACTIVITIES
The National Youth Commission will host a press conference at its offices, 17th Floor, Poynton Building, Church Street, Pretoria at 12.30 pm. Monday 8 June 1998.
The venue and programme for the official Youth Day observance will be released, along with details of NYC-supported activities and initiatives in all provinces.
Details of the Youth Day launches of the National Youth Action Plan, based on the National Youth Policy, as well as the high-tech National Youth Information Services Project, will be made available for the first time.
In recognition of the existence for the first time of a South African National Youth Policy, a theme has been adopted for this year's Youth Day which will be observed.
The youth of our country have something specific to say on Youth Day this year! We appeal to our colleagues in media to come and assist us in getting their message to the broader public.
