28-05-98: President Mandela returned to Cape Town after spending a few days in Morocco.
The President invited Thembisa Fulani, a standard 10 pupil at Bulumko High School, her parents and her teacher, Badie Tetyana-Makhosana for lunch at his residence, Genadendal, today.
29-05-98: President Mandela attends the opening of the Embo Community Health Centre in Umbumbulu, Kwa-Zulu Natal between 11H00 and 12H00.
30-05-98: The President will receive an Honorary Doctorate form the University of Zululand between 09H00 and 10H00 today.
He will spend the afternoon and evening at Kings House, Durban.
31-05-98: President Mandela will spend the morning at Kings House and the afternoon he flies to Gauteng.
01-05-98: The President will spend the morning at Albert Luthuli House.
At 17H00 he will meet Chief Emeka Anyacku, Commonwealth Secretary General at his residence Genadendal Cape Town.
02-06-98: President Mandela received the President of the Republic of Malawi. President Dr Bakill Muluzi at Tuynhuys during a welcoming ceremony between 10H00 and 11H15 at Tuynhuys, Cape Town.
In the evening between 19H00 and 21H15 President Mandela will host a banquet in honour of President Muluzi.
03-06-98: The President attends the opening of the President Hotel in Cape Town between 10H0 and 10H30.
He will then proceed to Khayelitsha to visit the Noluthando School for the Death from 11H00 to 11h30.
04-06-98: At 08H00 the President will attend a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security and Intelligence.
At 10H00 he will attend a meeting of the African National Congress caucus.
In the afternoon he returns to Gauteng.
05-06-98: At noon the President is expected to meet with the Irish Foreign Minister, Mr D Andrews at Mahlamba-Ndlopfu in Pretoria.
At 12H30 President Mandela hosts a lunch in honour of the cast of the TV programme "Generations" at his residence Mahlamba-Ndlopfu, Pretoria.
06-06-98: The President will attend the opening of the Maputo Toll Road at the Komatipoort Show Grounds between 10H30 and noon.
