TOPIC: The National Year 2000 Decision Support Centre (Y2K Centre), established as a result of a Cabinet decision, is gearing itself to monitor the state of readiness of South Africa in respect of the Year 2000. A panel of Y2K Centre Executives will be presenting a short overview of activities of the newly established Centre to-date. A simulation of the innovative Y2K-readiness monitoring system as will be used in the Y2K Ops Room, will be demonstrated.
