Pretoria - Health Minister, Dr Nkosazana Zuma is to travel to the Free State on Tuesday (April 28) on a fact finding visit on the delivery of health services in the province.
The visit is part of the provincial roadshow to review the implementation of the District Health system, which is the cornerstone of the national health system. In the past two weeks Dr Zuma visited KwaZulu - Natal and the Northern provinces.
During her visit, she will meet various stakeholders in the district health development process to discuss the opportunities and challenges of implementation.
Dr Zuma will visit several health facilities including Thusanong Primary Health Care Clinc, Kroonstad Health Complex, Koppies Community Health Centre and Boitumelo Hospital.
There will be a media briefing held at the end of the visits.
