MEDIA STATEMENT ON VISIT TO SOUTH AFRICA BY PRESIDENT CHIRAC OF FRANCE
The French President, Mr Jacques Chirac, has accepted an invitation from President Nelson Mandela to pay a state visit to South Africa from 26-28 June 1998. This visit follows on the successful visit of President Mandela to France in July 1996.
President Chirac will be combining his visit to South Africa with visits to other countries in the region.
