INVITATION TO MEDIA BRIEFING WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH NURSING?

The Gauteng Health Department cannot claim to be changing the face of nursing - but we've certainly altered a few features.

We would like to tell the media - and, through you, the public - about what has been happening in relation to:

• The restructuring of nursing colleges (including future closure of some colleges)
• The introduction of service contracts for student nurses.
• New opportunities for advanced nursing training.
• Recognition for experienced practitioners.
