The first legislative session in 1998 of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature takes place on Friday, 20 February, 1998, at 8:45 in the legislature building, corner President and Market street, Johannesburg.
The sitting will allow the new premier of Gauteng, Dr Mathole Motshekga, who has taken over the reins of power from Mr Tokyo Sexwale, to present his vision and mission for the province.
The event is to be attended by a host of dignitaries across the country.
