DR ZUMA OPENS CLINIC AT ULUNDI (NORTHERN KWAZULU-NATAL)
Pretoria - Health Minister, Dr. Zuma will be the guest of honour at the official opening of Zilulwane Clinic outside Ulundi at 10:00 on Saturday, 31 January 1998.
Dr. Zuma will joint the Minister of Home Affairs, Dr. M buthelezi, MEC for Health in KwaZulu-Natal, Dr Z Mkhize and other high profile political and community leaders at the official opening ceremony.
The clinic which serves a population of 14 000 people in and around Ulundi is part of the Department of Health hospital and clinic upgrading programme. This programme has resulted in the building and staffing of more than 350 clinics countrywide over the past 18 months.
