Parliament this year opens on the 6th of February. The media briefing by Ministers will run from the 9th to the 13th of February, 1998. Media coverage of both events is being arranged by the Media Liaison Directorate of the South African Communication Service. Schedules are being prepared and a draft programme for the media briefing week will be published through SAPA PR as soon as possible.
Please note that the attached draft schedule could change at short notice. However, every attempt would be made to inform you as timeously as possible.
This advisory is to enable you to make your logistical arrangements for the coverage of both events.
