MEDIA STATEMENT : APPOINTMENT OF JUSTICE GOLDSTONE TO ADMINISTRATIVE TRIBUNAL OF THE AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT BANK
It is with pleasure that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has learned that Justice Goldstone has been appointed a Judge of the Administrative Tribunal of the African Development Bank, which takes effect from January 1998.
This is yet another example of the increasing role of South Africa, both at governmental and non-governmental levels, in international activities.
We are confident that Justice Goldstone will be worthy of the challenge confronting him and that his activities will further evidence the growing reputation of South Africans in international institutions.
