Tuesday, 9 December 1997:
The President will meet representatives from the S A Agricultural Union, as well as Ministers Mufumadi, Hanekom, Deputy Minister Matthews and Divisional Commissioner Pruis at 11H00 at Mahlamba-Ndlopfu, Pretoria. Photo-opportunity at approximately 11H40.
At noon President Mandela will meet President Eyadema of Togo at Mahlamba-Ndlopfu. Photo-opportunity at approximately 12H40.
Wednesday, 10 December 1997:
The President flies to Cape Town to attend the Nelson Mandela Tennis Tribute dinner at the Vergelegen Wine Estate, Somerset West. Contact the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund at Tel: 011-7869140 or MTN at 011-3016777. The President arrives at the function at 19H30 and departs at 21H00.
Friday, 12 December 1997:
The President will attend the wedding ceremony of film producer, Anant Singh, at the International Convention Centre, Durban between 19H00 and 20H30.
Saturday, 13 December 1997: -
President Mandela will meet U S Secretary of State, Madelaine Albright at Mahlamba-Ndlopfu at 10H00. Photo-opportunity.
Sunday, 14 December 1997:
The President will rest today in Houghton.
Monday, 15 December 1997:
The President will rest at his Houghton residence today.
Tuesday, 16 December 1997 - Saturday, 20 December 1997:
The President will attend the ANC National Conference.
Sunday, 21 December 1997 to 16 January 1998:
President Mandela will be on vacation. The President will spend Christmas in Qunu in the Transkei.
