The GAUTENG Provincial Legislature Development Planning and Local Government Standing Committee Chairperson, Mr Mathole Motshekga hereby gives notice that there will be Committee Hearings, initiated by the Eastern and Western Services Councils, to deal with the extension of Local Government to rule rural areas.
The Committee Hearings will take place as follows:
Eastern Gauteng Services Council:
DATE : Monday, 8 December 1997
TIME : 10 am
VENUE : Germiston City Council's Management Committee Room, Prince Street (Germiston City Centre), Germiston.
Western Gauteng Services Council:
DATE : Wednesday, 10 December 1997
TIME : 10 am
VENUE : Imbizo Chamber, Corner Sixth and Park Streets, Randfontein.
The maximum participation of the community from the rural areas will be highly appreciated.
