ITINERARY OF PRESIDENT NELSON MANDELA (2-12-97 TO 7-12-97)
Tuesday, 2 December 1997: -President Mandela attends the electrification project in Soshanguve between 09H00 and 10H00. The official "switch-on" ceremony will take place at the Matlala residence at approximately 09H45.
Wednesday, 3 December 1997: The President will attend the last Cabinet meeting for 1997 in Pretoria between 08H30 and 12H30.

Thursday, 4 December 1997: The President will visit Colonel Prinsloo (ex-Robben Island Commander) at the Palms Rennaisance Old Age Home (Silverton, Pretoria) between 11H00 and 11H30.
Between 12H30 and 13H30 President Mandela will host a lunch meeting with representatives of Nafcoc.
President Mandela will receive an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Pretoria between 14H00 and 15H30.
The President will attend the Palestinian Solidarity meeting at the Unisa Main Campus, Old Mutual Hall, Pretoria between 19H00 and 19H30.
Friday, 5 December 1997: President Mandela will attend the opening of the National Intelligence Agency offices in Pretoria between 09H30 and 10H30.
Saturday, 6 December 1997: The President will host a breakfast meeting with boxers, Joe Frazier, Michael Spinks, Butch Lewis and actor, Leon Robinson at his residence in Houghton.
