We urge you to ignore the Government Gazette containing the Employment Equity Bill which was published on Friday, 21 November.
The Government Printer on Friday inadvertently issued a copy of the Employment Equity Bill which contains certain errors. The Department of Labour is currently taking steps to ascertain how an uncorrected proof of the Bill was published in the Government Gazette.
The correct version of the Bill will be available on Sunday, 30 November when the Minister of Labour launches the new Bill at a series of public functions in Johannesburg.
The functions include a briefing of stakeholders and press conference.
