KHUMALO TO HEAD GAUTENG ENQUIRY
GAUTENG PREMIER TOKYO SEXWALE today appointed Eskom's Human Resources Executive Director Mr. Bongani Khumalo to head the Commission of Inquiry to look into the untested allegations of misconduct and mismanagement against Gauteng Director-General, Mr. Vincent Mntambo.
The Commission will look into the allegations made by some members of the Executive Council and will also look into the unresolved conflict between the Director-General, members of the Executive Council and other staff members in the Premier's Office and the Gauteng Provincial Government.
After completion of its work, the Commission will present a report to the Premier and the Public Service Commission. The Provincial Executive and the PSC will then consider the report and the Premier will issue a further statement at that time.
